Based in Houston, the Village school is both a boarding and day school, with students having the option to either commute to or live on campus. As one of the best private schools in Houston, Village allows students from around the world to experience a top tier education. Note that the residential program requires an additional application, to make sure students are ready for the experience. The school offers both AP and IB classes to students.

The Village School offers rolling admissions, and accepts applications at any time. We do recommend applying at least six months before your desired start date.

Standardized Tests: The ISEE is required. International students whose first language is not English must submit an English proficiency test (TOEFL or IELTS)

Recommendations: Required from an English and math teacher, emailed directly to the school
Transcripts: A report card and transcript from your current and former year in school are required.
Other materials: A copy of a government issued ID is required. Students wishing to board at the Village school must submit an additional application.
Curriculum Information: Most of the Village students take the IB curriculum, though they also offer a pre-medical science diploma and an entrepreneurship diploma.
Graduation Requirements: You must choose to complete one of the three diplomas offered; each of which has set course requirements. In general, you are expected to take four years in each of the core academic subjects.

Campus Information: Located on the West side of Houston, the Village School has a 28 acre campus, with separate buildings for dormitories, and the upper and lower schools.

Clubs: There are over 80 student led clubs on campus, and anyone interested can start their own to explore new interests.
